About Us

    Our store is a home based fabric store located in Sonoma County, the heart of California wine country.  I started the store because I really wanted to satisfy my crazy fabric addiction and what better way than with my favorite fabrics?

   My affair with Asian fabrics started the first time I "fondled" the Serenity yarn dyes. I was hooked. The beautiful colors and textures had me.  When I attended the Pacific International Quilt festival last year in Santa Clara, there was the most fabulous quilt made of Serenity fabrics done in a simple Yellow Brick Road pattern. 

   The idea for Aiko's Asian Fabric was born while visiting my oldest son in Lake Tahoe.  A visit to the local quilt shop got me inspired after viewing their great selection of Asian fabrics and I decided that that was going to be my niche on the web.  I am so excited that Aiko's is live and online.

   Named for our Mother who passed away in 1989, I hope that you visit Aiko's often and tell your friends.  I look forward to serving you.
